Welcome to our new website

After a fair bit of work behind the scenes, our new website is finally live. If you have landed here from the old site then welcome back, and if you are new to CES, good to have you.

We are Coastal Engineering Services, a steel fabrication and engineering firm working out of our workshop on Mullacott Industrial Estate in Ilfracombe. We have been making steel and metalwork for builders, architects, factories and homeowners across North Devon for years now, and the new site is our way of making it easier to see what we do and to get hold of us.

Have a look around and you will find all of our services set out properly. On the construction side there is structural and construction steel with RSJs and beams cut to order, metal fabrication for one off pieces and larger frames, welding carried out by our coded welders, and laser cutting for precision sheet metal work. For homes and developments we cover gates, railings and fencing made to measure, stairs and balconies built to Building Regulations, and glass balustrades for stairs, landings and balconies. Factories and workshops can also come to us for mechanical and factory maintenance, covering everything from pipework and machine installs through to planned inspections.

Everything is designed and built in house here in Ilfracombe. No outsourcing, no middlemen. We are ISO 9001 certified and CE marked to EN 1090, so the quality side is documented and traceable on every job we take on.
